IS THIS METAL STERLING????

All my white metal is sterling silver (unless otherwise specified). I use Argentium Sterling Silver. Slightly more expensive but Less tarnishing than traditional sterling silver. So worth it. Actually has a wee bit more silver than sterling silver. read about it here

HOW LONG HAVE YOU BEEN DOING THIS??

I started making jewelry somewhere around 1999, i think. I do remember I had my first 'trunk show' at my friend, Beth Beasley's house September 8, 2001. I made $1000 in about 3 hours. I was on such a high, then 3 days later, Sept. 11, 2001. BOOM back to reality for everyone. It took several years to get the buying public back to the mood of spending money. But they did. I was doing wholesale and had my jewelry in many stores throughout the u.s. I was also doing retail art shows and fairs. Then Sept 2008 and the economy tanked and so did most people's desire to spend. My wholesale dried up for the most part and I truly don't think my jewelry is a good fit for wholesale. So now here it is 2013 and things are looking up. I am doing over 13 retail shows this year. yay

WHERE DO YOU GET ALL YOUR IDEAS?

Ideas are always in my head. always. i never have to worry about coming up with new designs. I have always loved texture, color, architecture, design, fashion, nature, other cultures. I think most artists are a product of their past experiences and what they are exposed to everyday.
